First two images from the author's collection, 4 cent brown QV from Rod Sell

  • have this on a second revenue stamp dated 22 June 1882 and on 14 QV stamps, those that show a cancellation were used in SINGAPORE
  • TMP 6(5) (no. 34), p. 57 (1964): " ... WRS & Co . ... The letters in this case probably represent the firm of W.R. Scott & Co. which was absorbed into Messrs. Barlow & Co. in about 1894." (Gordon Peters) From Gaden Robinson 31 Jan. 2006
